Why: To build a strong and active community of supporters who understand the work of The Lab, and who can promote our mission and activities to a wider audience;
To generate ideas that will shape the program development of The Lab;
To identify and harness volunteer and financial resources that will expand the reach and impact of the services to the youth participating in The Lab.
Our Meeting Agenda is as follows:
1. Presentation by Mary Tinucci, Lab Coordinator: Learn about The Lab
2. Youth Advisory Team: Youth spoken word performance & perspectives
3. Circle conversation: Share your reactions and visions for the potential of The Lab, your ideas for volunteer recruitment and fundraising, and discuss possible involvement in an Advisory Committee.
