Anonymous Angel Donor is Back!
The LAB's anonymous "Angel Donor" is back! Just like last Spring, this donor is ready to match all donations collected, dollar for dollar up to $1,000.00, between today and December 1st.
All donations are tax deductible. Please help us reach our goal. Forward this to family & friends who might support us! Your donation in this matching opportunity will allow us to:
- Hire inspiring Guest Artists to mentor students at The Lab
- Print our youth poetry anthology & produce our next CD
- Purchase art supplies
- Purchase 1 drum set & 1 guitar used for student music lessons provided by volunteers
Please support our next steps in The LAB. All donations are tax deductible. Make checks payable to The Lab/SPPS, and mail to The Lab @ Homecroft, 1845 Sheridan Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55116. You can also donate directly on-line at www.sppspay.org. (once you are there, click on The Lab icon)
Student Enrichment Photos
With help from our VISTA worker, Tricia, and great LAB Enrichment Volunteers, students have been developing their photographic eye with digital cameras. Through scavenger hunts that get students to explore both outside and inside, challenges to find “juxtaposition” and “texture,” and peer interviews using digital video cameras, Lab students have generated a lot of impressive work.

Art Cards with Art Car Heather
These cool "art cards" were created by students at the Highland Sr. High Enrichment. The experience was guided by our Guest Artist, Art Car Heather!
